Summary of: Court Rules Government Can Get Your Online Personal Data Without Warrant By Graeme McMillan

McMillan stated that a U.S. District Court Judge ruled that the government can gather personal information from the Internet. This has come into question lately because of Wiki Leaks Trials, where police have gathered the defendants information online without warrants. The judge's reasoning was that they consented to have their information collected when it was publicly posted. This means that the government could be legally allowed to have full and unrestricted secret access to all of your online information.
